What Happened
On November 19, 2025, I won an auction on LiveAuctioneers.com for approximately 140 ounces of silver from the seller "Coins and Auctions Since 1994" for a total of $13,227.93.
I mailed a check as requested, which was cashed on December 23, 2025. Despite full payment being received and cleared, the seller has failed to deliver the purchased goods.
After numerous attempts to contact them for delivery or a refund, the seller made false accusations of "identity fraud," became hostile in communications, and eventually blocked all contact. They offered only a partial "settlement" check for $8,451.12 (a 36% loss) instead of the full refund or delivery of goods.
As of January 2026, I have received neither the silver I purchased nor a full refund of my $13,227.93 payment.
